Dancing The Tango

The dance known as the Tango was formally introduced by Argentina and Uruguay. It was then that the Tango was known as, "tango criollo." Many different kinds of tango have formed since the earlier days. These forms of tango are known as the Argentine Tango, Uruguayan Tango, Ballroom Tango, Finnish Tango, and vintage tango. Ballroom Tango as we all know is the form of which Americans and International people dance. Many people think of the Tango that was originally danced by Argentina and Uruguay as the authentic tango.

Back in the 19th century the tango was danced by a single woman making it a solo dance. Later on the dance was performed by one or two couples making it a flirty dance. The tango is considered one of the easiest dances of all, for the simple fact that if you are to mess up you can fix it easily, just keep on dancing.

The tango consists of many different steps, but of the same movement. In tango, you pick your feet up off the floor, in some other dances your feet are meant to glide along the floor. The dance consists of no rising or falling, your body should be level the whole time. Different types of music can also be used for this well known dance.  Music known as, Por Una Cabeza, Libertango, and Tango En El Parque. These types of music are known for their counts, this is why they are best to be played during this flirty dance.
